Emmanuel Chigutsa is the head of Pharmacometrics at Eli Lilly and Company. His group provides pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic (PKPD) modeling and simulation support across Lilly’s portfolio. Emmanuel’s expertise includes PKPD modeling and simulation in multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, diabetes, autoimmune, neuroscience, infectious diseases and COVID-19. Emmanuel is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He graduated with a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology from the University of Cape Town, a Master’s degree in Pharmacogenetics and a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, both from the University of Zimbabwe.
