About Us

The Stellenbosch University Pharmacometrics working group has been developed in conjunction with the School of Data Science, Stellenbosch University. The group falls under the Division of Clinical Pharmacology at Stellenbosch University which comprises Basic and Clinical Pharmacology groups focusing on preclinical and clinical interventional studies. The pharmacometrics group supports the Division’s research interest areas which include special populations, particularly paediatrics, pregnancy and non-communicable diseases in persons living with HIV. In addition, the pharmacometrics group has a strong teaching focus in educating clinicians and supporting Masters, and PhD students on model based approaches both in the clinical setting and in research.
